The Surrey Oaks is a CAMRA LocAle Pub

CAMRA are running a LocAle Initiative. The idea behind this is to promote pubs that sell at least one locally brewed real ale in the hope that it cuts down on the unnecessary delivery mileage and promotes local produce (and hopefully improves the local economy).

The Surrey Oaks always sells at least one LocAle as you can see from the list below

• Surrey Hills - Ranmore Ale (regular), others on a guest basis
• Pilgrim (guest basis)
• Weltons (guest basis)
• Dark Star (guest basis)
• Westerham (guest basis)
• Dorking (guest basis)
• Hepworth (guest basis)
• W.J. King (guest basis)

The Surrey Oaks is proud to support these breweries by selling their beers.

Naturally the beer quality also has to be up to a high standard before a pub is allowed to display the special CAMRA LocAle pump clips and poster.

Drop in and try a pint of locally produced real ale and while you're there why not try a guest ale as well? The currently available real ales are always listed in our Current Real Ales section (don't forget to check this weeks Beer Tasting Notes while you're there).
