On Friday 24th August 2007 (under three and a half years since we started keeping a beer database), The Surrey Oaks sold it's 1000th DIFFERENT beer. What's even more impressive is that this beer was a cask conditioned lager! Yes even lager can be made to taste nice when it's conditioned like a real ale. Seriously though, this was a very tasty beer. The brewery was Malvern Hills and the beer was Priessnitz, a light and very flavoursome beer with an ABV of 4.3%.
We hope you had a chance to taste this unique beer before it was all drunk
