Green Buses and a Beer Master

On Sunday 3^rd September 2006, TWO green RT double decker buses arrived at The Surrey Oaks at exactly the same time. One bus, as you can see, even had a destination or Parkgate! The reason this is unusual is that there is no real bus service to Parkgate; this was a group of enthusiasts who just had to visit The Surrey Oaks (sensible people!). The RT bus is the predecessor to the famous red Routemaster bus we used to see regularly in London. Unfortunately today even the Routemaster has disappeared from all but two London routes.

Also from Monday 28^th August 2006 (Bank Holiday Monday during our August Beer Festival), there is a great picture of Ken just about tap a barrel of beer.
