Our 365^th DIFFERENT Beer since 15^th April 2004 is....

NAYLORS - GONZO'S BLACK PORTER On Sunday 26^th March 2006 (less than a year into our 2005/2006 beer year) The Surrey Oaks sold it's amazing 365^th DIFFERENT beer. No matter how you look at this, it's impressive.

Last year we managed the same feat, but just two days earlier.

The brewery, Naylor's is a relatively new brewery from West Yorkshire and they already have a reputation for producing some really tasty beers. The beer, Gonzo's Black Porter, was a dark smooth beer, full of flavour (liquorice undertones) and at 5.5% ABV it certainly wasn't weak. The beer was of course, served in perfect condition and at the right temperature. What better beer could we have had to be our 365^th?

Since we started keeping our beer database (15^th April 2004), The Surrey Oaks has amazingly sold a staggering (pardon the pun), 673 DIFFERENT beers.
