From Tuesday 3rd January 2006 (yes, that's correct), The Surrey Oaks became a TOTALLY NO SMOKING Pub! This was a bold move, but now it seems that everyone else has followed us (well that's what we like to think)!
From the 1stJuly 2007, smoking has been be banned in all public places, which obviously includes all pubs.
So remember, The Surrey Oaks led the way, a full 18 months before everyone else.
