On Saturday 17 th July 2004, a Routemaster London Bus visited The Surrey Oaks (together with it's 50 occupants!). This is an annual event, a trip from London to Brighton and on their return a compulsory stop at The Surrey Oaks (and why not?). We think you'll agree this is a fairly unusual picture.
It is also compulsory that The Surrey Oaks has a mild available for this visit and Ken duly obliged with "Bateman's - Dark Mild". A Dark beer with an ABV of 3.0% (a truly magnificent ale).
