On Friday 23rd April, 2010, The Surrey Oaks will be hosting another one of its very popular themed meals. With summer approaching fast and the sound of horses hooves filling the air as they pass the Surrey Oaks, this can mean only one thing.. yep St. George is looking for a dragon! Contrary popular belief, there are actually no dragons at the Surrey Oaks, but never the less, St. George will be paying us a visit in the form of a St. George's Day Day Celebration Meal.
This years menu has several changes from last year, no doubt something to do with our 'new' chef, Gabbi. We've had lots of compliments about Gabbi's food, so why not come along and decide for yourself?
There will also be some light 'entertainment' from Ken in the form of a short St George's Day quiz followed by readings and songs (even I don't know what the latter two will involve, but I'm sure it will be fun!).
There should also be at least one fine real ale with a St. George's Day theme.
