Halloween Night Supper - 31^st October, 2007

On Wednesday 31^st October 2007, The Surrey Oaks hosted a Halloween Night Supper.

This was a fun evening with several people dressing up and the landlord Ken even had some gruesome headwear! We also had some interesting entertainment(?) in the form of a bran tub and apple bobbing. As for the meal, it really was very good, all the plates were wiped clean so well done to the chef Chris. There were also a couple of excellent guest ales to compliment the meal, a spooky ale, Osett - Spellbound (4.3% ABV), a light and refreshing ale and Dark Star - Golden Gate (4.5% ABV), a truly flavoursome ale.
