National Pubs Week ran from the 19th to the 26th February 2005. It is a CAMRA promotion aimed at getting people back into pubs, during what is traditionally a quiet time for pub trade.
Tuesday was a very cold night with frequent snow showers, so numbers were down slightly on last years event. There were however, more than enough people to enable four teams (of between 4 and 6 people) to enter the quiz.
Two different Guest Ales (as always) were available on this night, Woodland's, Village Green, a light beer (4.0%), and Hepworth, Old Ale, a dark beer (4.8%).
