CAMRA Surrey Pub of the Year 2010!

VUVUZELA ... WE SELL THS BEST ALE'A!!! ...

OK, we are generally a football free zone, but can you hear anything over the roar of the vuvuzela during 2010 World Cup? We can't, but we have heard that we've been voted CAMRA Surrey Pub of the Year for 2010. If you've been to the Surrey Oaks, you'll have to agree we do sell some really great real ale and as this award suggests, it's probably the best real ale in Surrey! As our home page shows, we are already the CAMRA East & Mid Surrey Branch Pub of the Year for 2010, so it looks like we've done the double .

The level of competition for this award continues to grow and that's all down to CAMRA and all the great publicity they generate for Real Ale and good local community pubs.

Astonishingly, this is the SIXTH year on the trot that we have won this prestigious award. It really does mean a lot to us and we are very pleased to see CAMRA recognise our pub in this way.

At the Surrey Oaks, we sell an ever-changing range of real ales. Every barrel of beer is lovingly(!) prepared for your enjoyment and the beer will be dispensed at the correct temperature in tip-top condition.

So if you are not a member of CAMRA, has all this talk of supporting your local made you want to become a member? There are several perks to joining, for example you get discounts off CAMRA Beer Festivals, money off vouchers for some beer establishments and a whole load of social events. Want to sign up?
