CAMRA awards mean a huge amount to us and are recognition of the hard work that goes into preparing the perfect pint. Notice that we said preparing, not pouring as real ale is a living product that needs to be looked after from the moment that the cask arrives. From stillage to soft pegging to tapping to hard pegging to clean dispensing lines, every part of the process is critical to serving the perfect pint.
We are of course lucky to be able to serve real ale today, because this product nearly disappeared in the seventies but thanks to the massive effort by CAMRA it is seeing something of a resurgence today. It is therefore no wonder that we are able to sell so many different types and styles of this great product.

Real ale is a drink for everyone; you'd be surprised how many women try them and can't believe how good they really are. There are a huge number of different styles so don't be put off just because the one you tried was not to your own personal taste.
